Guilt is that aching, self-flagellating feeling you get when you know you’ve done something wrong or somebody else tells you that you’ve done something wrong. Mothers are great at inflicting guilt, and so is religion. Guilt can be a heavy stone around your neck that causes you to feel anxious and depressed. Find out how you can let go of guilt with our wonderful psychology guru--the patient, empathetic Linda Blaikie.

Ayanna Watson, founder of Black Atheists of America, was born and raised in Long Island. She has earned an MBA and a law degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.  Ms. Watson attended a Lutheran-based high school, where she was required to study the Bible. As she realized the impact that religion played in society, she transitioned from Christianity to Deism and then to Atheism.
